This privacy policy applies to data processing conducted by Moeller Fine Art Projects |The Lyonel Feininger Project c/o Moeller Fine Art GmbH (henceforth referred to as “controller”, “we” or “us”). It explains the nature, scope and purposes of the collection, processing and use of so-called personal data that is linked to the use of our online catalogue raisonné which is available to registered users of our website www.feiningerproject.org (“website”).

3.1 Informational use of our website
When opening our website, the browser you are using will automatically send information to the server of our website and save them temporarily in so-called log-files. We do not have any influence on this procedure. In the course of this procedure, the following data is collected and stored, without any action on your part, until the time of automatic deletion:

The data collected does not enable us to draw any conclusions to your identity and we have no intention of drawing such conclusions. The following constitute our “legitimate interest” in the collecting of the data named above:
- The safeguarding of a smooth connection set-up,
- The safeguarding of a comfortable use of our website,
- The analysis of the system’s security and stability and
- Further administrative purposes.
3.2 Data processing when registering for the online archive
The online catalogue raisonné is accessible to registered users only. You need to enter your first and last name and your e-mail address to register. You may also enter the name of your organization (optional). After you entered these data into the entry mask on our website, they are stored with us.
The legal basis for collecting these data is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. The data processing serves to establish, implement and process the contractual relationship regarding your use of the online catalogue raisonné.
We delete the data collected and stored in connection with your registration at the latest when you notify us that you do not wish to use the online catalogue raisonné any longer. However, premature deletion of your personal data is not possible if and to the extent that the data is still required for processing the contract or if we are legally obliged to further storage.
